The physician will evaluate, interpret, and coordinate information to make decisions regarding patient care, averaging 15-18 patients per day. They will also collaborate with a cohesive team to improve community health.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO and be board certified, with a preference for internal medicine and geriatric experience. An unrestricted medical license in Iowa and eligibility to work in the U.S. are also required.
Average of 15-18 patients per day; no nights or weekends, 4.5 day work week 1:6 Nursing Home Call with a group of 8-9 providers Dedicated roomer, shared phone nurse, attached to the hospital with lab and x-ray Office services & procedures: POCT HgbAC1, INR Clinic, AWV, physicals, vaccines, procedures specific to your comfort level Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
MD or DO Board Certified Internal Medicine and Geriatric experience preferred, Family Medicine w/ adult medicine experience considered Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice Eligible to work in the United States J-1 & H1B Sponsorship Available We offer Initial 2-year salary guarantee of approximately $250,000 - $365,000 with the ability to exceed compensation and receive 100% of the upside on an innovative compensation program. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, internal equity, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on an individual’s qualifications. The pay range does not include other forms of incentives which may include bonuses or differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role.
