The Perioperative RN Trainee participates in a 6-month formal education program to train as a surgery circulator in the Operating Room. Responsibilities include planning and delegating care, executing physician orders, and evaluating patient responses to care.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing with current Alabama licensure. Experience is preferred, but new graduates are accepted, and BLS certification is required before the end of the orientation period.
Education: Graduate of Accredited School Of Nursing, with current Alabama Licensure Experience: Experience preferred, new graduate accepted. For Huntsville Health System, no written warnings/suspension within the year Additional Skills/Abilities: BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
