The Neurohospitalist APP will provide coverage for inpatient consults, follow-ups, and floor calls while managing the daily patient census. The role involves working alongside a neurohospitalist physician to deliver care across two hospital locations.
Candidates must hold a Florida licensure and APRN or PA certification with at least 2 years of experience in Neurology. Additionally, an Adult Gerontology and/or Acute Care Certification is required.

This role offers the opportunity to work side-by-side with an established neurohospitalist physician, delivering high-quality inpatient neurological care at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor and Mease Dunedin Hospital in Dunedin. As a Neurohospitalist APP, you will play an integral role in managing inpatient neurology patients across two well-respected hospitals. Your responsibilities will include: Inpatient neurology consults and follow-up care Responding to floor calls related to active neurology patients Actively managing and coordinating daily patient census Collaborating closely with neurohospitalist physicians and multidisciplinary care teams Schedule & Work-Life Balance: 7-on / 7-off rotation 12-hour day shifts (Tuesday–Monday) No night coverage or overnight call Structured schedule that supports both professional fulfillment and personal time This role is well-suited for experienced APPs who enjoy a fast-paced inpatient setting and are comfortable managing a broad spectrum of adult neurology conditions.
