This role involves independently managing post-surgical and specialty Intensive Care Unit patients, monitoring advanced pain protocols, and trending complex vital parameters. Technicians will also support anesthetic recovery for high-acuity cases and maintain accurate medical documentation.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in Emergency or specialty ICU settings, demonstrating competency in CRI setup, advanced anesthetic monitoring, and neurologic patient monitoring. Strong critical thinking and confidence managing medically complex patients are required for this high-responsibility position.

Our ICU is focused on advanced post-operative and medically intensive patients, not general kennel-style monitoring. This is a high-responsibility role requiring strong technical skills, critical thinking, and confidence managing complex cases, especially during overnight shifts.
This is a structured ICU environment with strong interdepartmental communication and clear expectations. Technicians are trusted to function at a high level and are supported by board-certified Criticalists and specialty teams.
Preferred Experience: Minimum of 2 years ER or specialty ICU experience
Experienced ICU Veterinary Assistants may be considered based on background
