The MRI Technologist is responsible for ensuring patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications, and performing high-quality MR studies on-site, potentially in a mobile environment. Duties also include operating multiple MR systems and training new technologists and support staff as required.
Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, CPR Certification, and a valid state driver's license if applicable. Experience requirements vary based on existing registration status, ranging from 3 months supervised experience to no experience for already MR registered technologists.
