The Licensed Practical Nurse provides patient and family-centered care under the direction of a registered nurse, acting as a partner and adviser to help patients optimally manage their healthcare. Responsibilities include assisting medical staff with examinations and procedures, performing screenings, documenting patient status, and prioritizing incoming patient phone calls.
Candidates must have graduated from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and be licensed as an LPN in South Carolina or a compact state, with one year of LPN experience preferred. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or an equivalent recognized provider is required.
