The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant implements treatment plans through direct treatment, collaboration with the Occupational Therapist, and education of staff and family members. Responsibilities also include complying with departmental documentation requirements under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Candidates must possess the education obtained from an accredited two-year associate degree program for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Applicants are required to hold a valid or pending State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License.
