The MRI Technologist coordinates and performs MRI procedures for patients, which involves operating the MRI scanner and associated radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment. This role requires strict adherence to MRI and radiation safety protocols concerning patients, colleagues, and self.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program and certified by the ARRT, with MRI registration required within two years of hiring. Essential skills include effective English communication, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work independently within six months.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a recognized, approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiologic technology. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. MRI registered within 2 years of hire date. LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation. SKILLS: Annual completion of competency requirements Basic typing and computer skills Must be able to work in a stand alone position within six months of hire date.
