The Clinical Nurse (RN) provides hands-on care by performing all steps of the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while coordinating care with other providers and teaching patients and families. This role involves establishing therapeutic relationships, monitoring patient status, implementing interventions safely, and ensuring quality healthcare practices.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse practicing within the scope of the California Nursing Practice Act, maintaining current BLS certification and professional development. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, and the role requires effective communication in English and the ability to handle physical demands like frequent lifting and bending.
