The Outpatient Pharmacist consults with patients and medical personnel regarding medication therapy and provides direction to pharmacy staff including residents, interns, and technicians. Essential duties involve dispensing, compounding, procuring, storing, and distributing pharmaceutical products.
A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm.D. degree is required, along with a California Pharmacist License. Candidates must possess knowledge of relevant Federal and State laws and demonstrate excellent communication skills for patient and medical personnel interaction.
Consults with patients and medical personnel regarding medication therapy. Provides direction to Pharmacist Residents, Pharmacist Interns, Pharmacy Technicians and non licensed personnel. Dispenses, compounds, procures, stores, and distributes pharmacy products. Consults with patients and medical personnel regarding medication therapy.
