This position assists the physician in the examination and treatment of patients by performing delegated duties, including interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and preparing treatment rooms. The role also involves cross-training for efficiency, maintaining medical records, and ensuring safety and environmental standards are met.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program and hold current registration as an RMA or certification as a CMA, along with active CPR certification. Current RN or LPN licensure is also acceptable, and up to one year of experience in a medical/physician office setting is required.

This position assists the physician in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of physician. This position also interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts, and prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. The position will be cross-trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care; work cooperatively within the team concept demonstrating flexibility, motivation and commitment to quality patient care. This position’s tasks include patient related duties, medical record maintenance/documentation, and safety/environmental duties.

Demonstrates flexibility and/or initiative in seeking or accepting additional assignments. Exhibits dependability in areas such as attendance, punctuality and the timely performance of duties. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of clean and sterile procedures in the use of medical equipment.
