Job Summary Provides personal care services in client's home under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Therapist. The Aide is assigned to specific clients by the Registered Nurse or other appropriate professional who performs services for clients as necessary to maintain their personal comfort and well-being. Whether you are a certified nurse aide (CNA) or home health aide (HHA) we have an array of work options available.

Schedule / Expected Work Hours
Will vary based on client assignment. Flexible schedule (morning, evenings, weekdays, weekends).
Priority: caregivers available for evening/overnight and weekend shifts
Responsibilities
Assist client with general Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, meals, and safe ambulation/transfers.
Provide companionship and, if authorized, transportation for clients according to the care plan.
Document care provided and maintain accurate records for the Agency.
Work collaboratively with the client’s care team and ensure effective communication.
Report any changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor as outlined in the care plan.
Promote client safety by following infection control practices and reporting unsafe conditions.
Attend in-service programs to meet compliance and notify supervisors of any educational needs.
Qualifications
Meets one of the following:
Successful completion of a formal aide certification (Florida or other state) or an Agency-administered training program that meets the requirements of Medicare Condition of Participation 42 C.F.R. 484.80.

Successful completion of a written HHA competency exam
Proof of graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Florida or other state).
Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written care plan.
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following care plans.
Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements and in good repair.
Current CPR certification.
Successful completion of a written HHA competency exam.
