The Laryngology APP will provide, coordinate, and support adult patient care in the Division of Laryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Responsibilities include conducting patient intake visits, assisting with office procedures, and collaborating with faculty and staff to improve care coordination.
Candidates must have a Master's Degree relevant to the Advanced Practice Provider role and 3-5 years of clinical experience, although new graduates may be considered. Current licensure as required by the governing board and certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is also necessary.
3 – 5 years clinical experience as an APP that demonstrates ability to fulfill responsibilities for the specific role preferred. Willing to train a new graduate with minimal rotation experience in an Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery environment. Job Related
Demonstrated ability to satisfy standards of performance delineated by law and associated professional practice standards, the latter set forth as an addendum to the position description. Ability to manage heavy workload with multiple priorities and inflexible deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Proficient in the use of computing hardware and software, including personal computing equipment, electronic medical record, word processing and spreadsheet software. Regular and consistent attendance at work Willingness to learn Registrations, Certifications and/or Licenses: Current licensure as required by specific Advanced Practice Provider governing board(s).Certified, National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or Certified Nurse Practitioner.
