The primary responsibilities include providing comprehensive dental assisting services during mobile clinics, which encompasses digital X-ray imaging, patient records charting, coronal polishing, and managing equipment setup, breakdown, and sterilization assistance. Assistants must also travel daily to and from various school sites to deliver care to underserved children.
Candidates must possess active CPR certification, at least one year of experience as a Dental Assistant, and one year of Digital X-ray Imaging experience, along with mandatory certifications including X-Ray, EDDA, Sealant, Coronal Polishing, and Fluoride. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the physical ability to travel locally and carry up to 55 lbs are also essential requirements.
