The Interventional Radiology Technologist supports physicians during complex interventional procedures by ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting with equipment setup and procedural workflow in a hospital-based IR department. This role involves performing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a high-volume setting.
Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including proficiency with angiography, embolization, biopsies, and vascular closure systems like Perclose and StarClose. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS, along with a valid California state license, and the ability to respond within 30 minutes while on required on-call duty.

This role supports complex diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced hospital-based environment.
POSITION OVERVIEW This assignment is ideal for IR nurses experienced in high-acuity procedural environments who are comfortable supporting vascular and interventional cases while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
