Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for adult patients with various mental health disorders. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and maintain accurate documentation.
Candidates must have an MD or DO from an accredited medical school and completed a residency in Psychiatry. A current medical license in Georgia and board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry are also required.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and primary care physicians, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards, as well as Wellstar policies and procedures.
Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Completed residency in Psychiatry from an accredited program.
Prior experience in outpatient psychiatric care is preferred but not required.
Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in using electronic medical records (Epic experience preferred).
