The Clinical Pharmacist ensures the safe, effective, and fiscally responsible use of medications by applying clinical knowledge and serving as a patient advocate in planning and implementing pharmacy care across all practice areas. This role legally involves the review and approval of all activities related to dispensing patient-specific medications pursuant to a valid prescription or medication order.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or Pharm D degree and be a Registered Pharmacist licensed in the State of Ohio. Preferred experience includes practice in areas emphasizing computerized unit dose, sterile products, and patient-focused clinical skills, along with effective communication and computer proficiency.
