This position involves providing comprehensive care to patients suffering from hematologic and oncologic diseases throughout their diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up phases. Duties also include participating in on-call coverage, service rotations, and contributing to the development of multi-disciplinary cancer programs and clinical trials.
Candidates must possess a Medical Doctorate degree and be board certified or eligible in Medical Oncology, along with holding or obtaining a Kentucky medical license. Preferred experience includes proficiency with the Epic EMR system, strong computer skills, and current ACLS/BLS certifications.

UofL Health, in collaboration with the University of Louisville Division of Hematology/Oncology is seeking applicants for a medical oncologist with the organization. This position will provide care for patients with hematologic and oncologic diseases and provide primary care to patients during diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Duties include: On-call coverage and service rotation at the University of Louisville Health hospital, with primary deployment at the Bluegrass Avenue site at Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. This position will occasionally support UofL Health’s affiliated hospitals and clinics in Louisville, KY. Assist with the development and contribution to the respective multi-disciplinary cancer programs and the design and development of clinical trials and translational research. Require board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology and must have or be able to obtain a Kentucky medical license.
