Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment at a medical center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

This role supports a large respiratory care department working across Med Surg, ICU Stepdown, and Emergency Department environments in a high-acuity setting.

POSITION OVERVIEW This assignment is ideal for RRTs with strong acute care experience who are comfortable managing complex respiratory patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS • 13-week contract • 4x12 Night shifts • 18

• 45–07:15
• Weekend requirement: 4 shifts within a 6-week timeframe
• Call required as needed based on workload
• Floating required within hospital based on skill set and census

COMPENSATION • Gross

• $2,226 per week
• W2: $17.50 per hour
• Tax-Free
• Stipend: $1,246 per week

• Clinical responsibilities
• Perform airway management and ventilator support
• Administer respiratory medications and therapies
• Conduct ABG analysis and interpretation
• Provide oxygen therapy and suctioning
• Support pulmonary toileting and advanced respiratory interventions
• Manage BiPAP, CPAP, heated high-flow, and Meta-neb therapies
• Assist in prone positioning and care of COPD and COVID patients
• Document care in Epic EMR
