The Veterinary Patient Care Assistant will support the Technician and Doctor teams by fostering a positive, low-stress environment for clients and patients, aiming to build client confidence to ensure exceptional patient care. Duties include providing quality patient care using a Fear Free approach, performing technical tasks like blood draws and radiographs, and maintaining hospital upkeep.
Candidates must be proficient in technical skills such as blood draws, IV catheter maintenance, and acquiring digital radiographs, while also administering medications and restraining patients. Essential soft skills include the ability to multitask, work collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and utilize basic computer and strong communication skills.
