The CT technologist performs procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images are produced. Responsibilities also include patient care, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety protocols.
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Allied Health and be a graduate of an approved technical program. Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required, along with a CT registry within two years of employment.
