The role involves providing proficient technical support by assisting physicians during patient preparation, intra-procedural, and post-procedural phases, including managing supplies and monitoring patients. The technologist is also responsible for the safe and effective operation of radiographic, fluoroscopic, and specialized imaging equipment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a graduate degree from an accredited Radiological Technology school, and current Florida licensure. Required certifications include Basic Life Support and active ARRT credentials with advanced certification (e.g., VI, CV, CI, RCIS, RCES) or three years of experience substituting for advanced certification.

To provide proficient technical support by assisting the physician with patient preparation, intra and post-interventional/surgical procedures, management of supplies and devices, physiologic patient monitoring and assisting with direct patient care. Responsible for safe and effective operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment as well as specialized imaging and technical equipment used for procedures. Is a patient/family educator, advocate and liaison. Estimated pay range for this position is $44.00 / hour depending on experience.
