The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will provide individualized, in-home therapy for pediatric patients under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists to help children reach developmental milestones. Key duties include supporting treatment plan implementation, assisting with assessments, educating families on home programs, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Candidates must be a Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Texas, with experience in pediatric home health or a related field being preferred. Strong communication skills, proficiency in EMR documentation, and the flexibility to adapt treatment plans for diverse patient needs are essential requirements.
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide individualized, in-home therapy for pediatric patients throughout Eagle Pass. You’ll work under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists (OTs) to help children achieve developmental milestones through patient-centered therapeutic interventions. Scheduling Options: PRN: Flexible hours Part-Time: 12–24 visits/week Full-Time: 25+ visits/week Daytime and after-school hours available We work around your availability—daytime and after-school visits are both needed! Key Responsibilities: Support the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans. Assist in assessing functional abilities using standardized and non-standardized tools. Educate families on home programs, adaptive strategies, and daily routines. Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to care coordination.
