The Advanced Care Technician is responsible for delivering competent and skilled care to patients under the direction of a physician or Registered Nurse. This role requires a team-oriented approach with an emphasis on customer relations, understanding personal limitations, and reporting pertinent data to the RN or Manager.
Candidates must possess a High School Graduate or equivalent (GED) certificate and hold a current Paramedic license or EMT-P certification. One year of experience as a paramedic is preferred, along with current BLS and PALS certifications.
