The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists in providing clinical care under physician supervision, which includes greeting patients, obtaining vital signs, inputting data into the EHR, and performing medication reconciliation. Responsibilities also involve triaging communications, assisting with clinical procedures, administering routine injections, and maintaining exam room readiness.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current Massachusetts LPN License, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred qualifications include a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting and strong skills in interpersonal communication, customer service, and computer applications like EMR systems.
· Ability to read, write and communicate in English · Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing · Current Massachusetts LPN License · Basic Life Support certification (BLS) and must maintain certification · Strong interpersonal, customer service, time management skills · Experience with current office technology and proficient with computer office applications (Electronic Medical/Health Records, MS Office, etc.) · A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a clinical setting preferred
