The physician will provide general family medicine procedures, evaluate patient information to make care decisions, and collaborate within a team environment to improve community health. Responsibilities include shared call duties, triaged through MyNurse, and adhering to clinic hours.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain an unrestricted medical license in Iowa and possess the necessary authority to prescribe medications.
Clinic hours: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 6pm and Saturday 8am – 12pm; Saturdays are not currently part of the clinic hours, plan to expand on a rotating basis. Shared call amongst the providers; Calls are first triaged through MyNurse Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve General family medicine procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc. Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
