• Opportunity to provide full-spectrum family medicine services to a diverse population in a rural community Two established UnityPoint primary care practices in Storm Lake: Buena Vista Clinic & Family Health Center Cohesive group of Family Medicine, Family Medicine with OB, and Internal Medicine Physicians and Advanced Practitioners Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well Array of services and visiting specialists to serve patients in the community Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

Average of 20-25 patients per day Clinic Open: Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p General family medicine procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc. Provide prenatal/postpartum care and perform deliveries; cesarean sections optional Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
