The role involves joining an experienced headache team to provide comprehensive care in an outpatient setting, collaborating with fellowship-trained physicians and a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include providing patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
Candidates must be a nationally certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate, capable of obtaining licensure in both New Hampshire and Vermont. A minimum of two years of clinical experience specifically in headache care is required, alongside a commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.

As Department Chief, you’ll guide strategic direction, support provider development, and foster a culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement. Working closely with the Chair of Surgical Services and administrative leadership, you'll ensure alignment with institutional goals while advancing clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and patient-centered care.

Required Licensure/Certifications Board Certified in Anesthesiology Fellowship trained preferred, but not required Minimum 2 years of leadership experience Eligible for NH medical License Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization Skilled presenter and collaborator in both small and large group settings Committed to maintaining an active clinical practice and able to provide clinical case logs from the past 12 months
