The Registered Dietitian manages the overall nutritional care for clients with eating disorders, including meal planning, individual counseling, and facilitating nutrition groups. Responsibilities also involve developing the program's nutritional philosophy, conducting assessments, creating treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team, and educating clients and their families.
Candidates must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) in good standing, having completed their dietetic internship and maintaining all required licensure. Essential qualities include strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, alongside a commitment to professional development and excellent patient care.
The Registered Dietitian is responsible for the overall nutritional management of a population of clients with eating disorders. The dietitian will be responsible for client meal planning, individual nutrition counseling, and facilitating nutrition groups. The dietitian will also plan and assist in the execution of individualized nutritional exposures for clients and educating client’s families.
