The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will collaborate within a dedicated Anesthesia Care Team, working alongside experienced CRNAs and board-certified anesthesiologists. The primary focus of this role will be on major vascular, cardiac, and thoracic anesthesia, though general surgery and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) cases may also be included.
Candidates must be graduates of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, with a minimum education requirement of a master’s degree or higher for those hired after March 1, 2019. Required certifications include current BLS, ACLS, and PALS, along with eligibility or current licensure to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in South Carolina.
