The primary responsibility is to respectfully embalm deceased loved ones, performing all necessary preparation activities including restorations, dressing, and cosmetic application under general supervision. This role also involves various services, client relations, and maintaining effective communication with administrative staff and officials.
Candidates must meet all state licensing requirements for embalmers and possess a valid driver's license, with bilingual Spanish/English skills being preferred. Essential abilities include strong organizational skills, the capacity to work independently, excellent interpersonal skills, and the physical capability to lift objects exceeding 100 pounds.
To support Mortuary and Care Center by performing all activities required to correctly and respectfully embalm a deceased loved one.
Under the general supervision of the Care Center Manager, the Care Center Specialist cares for deceased in a respectful manner while performing a variety of tasks included below. In addition to the embalming duties, this position may perform various services and client relations activities, while establishing and maintaining effective communication of efforts with mortuary office administrative staff, parish priests and mortuary officials.
• Understanding of Christian Burial in the Catholic Church.
