Veterinary Technicians are responsible for performing basic medical, diagnostic, and laboratory procedures under the direction of a licensed veterinarian, including assisting in appointments and monitoring hospitalized patients. Key duties involve client education, sample collection, administering medications, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the hospital.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and are required to be a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT). A minimum of three years of clinical veterinary hospital experience is necessary, along with strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively.
