Work Shift Wellstar MCG Health is looking for a Hospital Medicine APP to join the inaugural team of the Wellstar Columbia County Hospital.
Wellstar Columbia County Medical Center is anticipated to open in the fall of 2026.
This full-service acute care hospital will feature 100 inpatient beds; an emergency department expected to become a Level II trauma center; a surgical platform that will include operation rooms, catheterization laborites, and interventional radiology and endoscopy.
There will be a 90,000- square-foot medical office building that will offer primary care, women's health care and other specialties.
Advanced Practice Provider will provide clinical services to patients consistent with their training and expertise.
The care of patients is the highest priority in the WellStar Health System.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: The care of patients in Inpatient settings.
The documentation of clinical care The documentation and tasks necessary for billing and other administrative functions Performs other duties as assigned Position Schedule: 7PM- 5AM Complies with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
Required Minimum Education: All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
