The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to deliver individualized nursing care to post-operative and acute care patients requiring hospitalization. This role also involves assuming responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period and collaborating with nursing personnel to provide total patient care.
Candidates must be caring communicators who are flexible, capable of multitasking, and comfortable with technological systems, holding an IA RN license or a compact state equivalent. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, though in-house certification is available upon hire, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
