The LPCC, working under the Behavioral Health Director within the primary care team, is responsible for providing standardized counseling and talk therapy to patients with mild to moderate mental health conditions referred by physicians. This role also involves addressing patient social needs and utilizing referral sources for specialty care or advanced psychiatric treatments.
The candidate must be a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) interested in providing therapy to adults, children, and adolescents. Training and experience with play therapy and working with children are preferred qualifications for this position.

Under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Director, the LPCC as a part of the primary care team, is responsible for providing standardized counseling/talk therapy, for NHC's Patient with mild to moderate mental health conditions who are referred by NHC's physicians and mid-level providers. The LPCC will work to address other social needs of patients and will utilize area referral sources for needed specialty care, hospitalization, or advance psychiatric assessments and treatments.
