The competent clinician provides patient care based on the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Practice, functioning as a skilled member of the interdisciplinary team with predominantly interdependent decision-making. This role involves managing unexpected or emergency situations common to the specialty population and serving as a resource for less experienced nurses.
Applicants must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of two years of clinical RN experience and must possess and maintain a current license or valid permit to practice in Texas. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required for this position.
