Responsibilities also include administrative duties like documentation, calling in prescriptions, managing supplies, and following up on referrals and authorizations.
Candidates must possess a high school degree and a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certificate, along with at least one year of experience in clinical assisting. Required qualifications also include comfort with email and internet applications, knowledge of practice management and word processing software, and good communication skills.
