The provider will deliver advanced trauma care across multiple settings including the Emergency Department, trauma bay, ICU, and clinics, focusing on the emergent and ongoing management of critically injured patients. Key duties involve participating in trauma resuscitations, performing advanced procedures, managing inpatient care, and providing follow-up in the trauma clinic.
Candidates must be either a certified Physician Assistant (PA) from an ARC-PA-accredited program or a board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP), both requiring a current, unrestricted U.S. license, BLS, and ACLS. A minimum of one year of experience in Intensive Care/Critical Care settings is required, and the provider must have actively practiced within the last two years.

MDPerm is seeking an experienced Trauma Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support high-acuity trauma services at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), one of the Department of Defense’s premier Level I Trauma Centers.
This role supports emergent and ongoing management of critically injured patients in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary military treatment facility.

The selected provider will deliver advanced trauma care in the Emergency Department, trauma bay, ICU, step-down units, medical-surgical wards, and the trauma clinic. Providers must be confident in functioning independently within the scope of practice and collaboratively within a trauma team environment.
