The Clinical Veterinarian will deliver high-quality veterinary care to privately owned canine and feline oncology patients within the Veterinary Research and Oncology Center, supporting both patient quality of life and cancer research efforts. Responsibilities include performing clinical duties, conducting rounds, collecting samples like minor tumor biopsies, administering anesthesia, and collaborating with medical doctors on research protocols.
Candidates must possess a Veterinary degree (D.V.M./V.M.D./B.V.Sc.) from an AVMA accredited school and hold current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the United States upon hire. A minimum of two years of experience in a veterinary practice or a two-year postdoctoral training program setting is required.

JOB SUMMARY Works under moderate supervision in the Veterinary Research and Oncology Center (VROC) in the Department of Radiation to provide high-quality veterinary care to canine and feline oncology patients owned by private clients. Works to advance the purpose of enhancing the quality of life for patients and furthering cancer research in humans.
