The primary responsibilities involve performing phlebotomy and clerical duties, including specimen collection, test order entry, and report generation while adhering to laboratory policies and procedures. This role also requires maintaining specimen integrity, educating patients, and managing necessary records and supplies.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A minimum of one year of experience in phlebotomy is required, along with strong verbal and written communication skills and competence in computer systems for laboratory tasks.
Responsible for phlebotomy and clerical duties including specimen collection, test order entry and report generation.
This position has no direct reports.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position on occasion will require you to lift objects up to 15lbs. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations with poise and efficiency. Repetitive motion of upper body required for extended use of machines and computers.
This is a position in an outpatient medical office setting. Days and hours can vary between all days of the week between the hours of 7am to 7pm. Based on business need, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends, is required.
This position will require travel to Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Niceville and Navarre clinics.
This position requires regular and reliable on-site attendance.
