The technologist operates CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosing medical conditions, while also performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures. Essential functions include assessing and planning care for patients across various age groups, producing reformatted images, utilizing PACS, and maintaining accurate records and data integrity.
Candidates are required to be registered by the ARRT with specific CT certification and hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred, and specific state licenses like Fluoroscopy and Venipuncture certification are preferred in certain states.

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. This position is represented by OFNHP.
