The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, conducting nursing assessments, and administering medications and treatments according to the scope of practice. This role also involves monitoring and documenting patient status while adhering to facility policies and state nursing regulations.
Candidates must possess an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with other certifications potentially being required. Relevant clinical experience is necessary for these mid-level contract opportunities.
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – 13 Week Contract Lake Regional Hospital | Osage Beach, Missouri (Lake of the Ozarks) These assignments support the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and involve caring for critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring, ventilator support, and rapid clinical intervention.
Candidates will be interviewed and submitted to the facility for review. Start dates are determined by the facility after candidate selection. COMPENSATION Up to $67 per hour blended equivalent based on a 40-hour work week CONTRACT DETAILS 13-week ICU RN contracts 12 hour shifts Schedule determined by the facility Potential contract extensions based on facility needs KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide critical care nursing for ICU patients Assess and monitor patient conditions Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Monitor cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and hemodynamic status Interpret laboratory results and report abnormal findings Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Maintain accurate patient documentation and regulatory compliance
Active RN license (Missouri or compact state) Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred) Current BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience Additional certifications such as TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, or PALS required PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Selected candidates must complete standard healthcare credentialing requirements, which may include background screening, drug testing, TB screening, immunization verification, and other facility health clearances.
