As an Audiologist, you will diagnose and treat hearing and balance disorders for patients of all ages. You will perform various diagnostic tests and collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive audiological services.
The job requires experience in diagnosing and treating hearing and balance disorders. Candidates should be able to work closely with physicians and provide personalized patient care.
Perform hearing evaluations and diagnostic testing for pediatric and adult patients. Fit and program hearing aids to meet each patient’s unique needs. Conduct Auditory Evoked Potentials (AEP) testing. Perform vestibular assessments, including VNG and caloric testing. Administer electrophysiology testing such as Electrocochleography (EcochG). Conduct otoacoustic emissions (OAE) and distortion product OAE screenings (DPOAEs). Provide custom earmolds and musician hearing protection products. Interpret test results in the context of each patient’s lifestyle and communication goals. Educate and counsel patients and caregivers on results, treatment plans, and device use. Collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnoses and coordinated care.
