The assistant will support the Respiratory Care Department by cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing equipment, managing supplies and medical gases, and assisting therapists during procedures like CPR. They will also be responsible for tracking equipment and providing oxygen during patient transport.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy program and possess a strong interest in respiratory care and patient support. Applicants must also be able to lift up to 30 pounds and handle equipment weighing up to 100 pounds, along with meeting specific background clearance requirements.
High school diploma or currently enrolled in respiratory therapist program. Must be able to lift equipment and or supplies weighing up to 30 pounds and push/handle equipment weighing up to 100 pounds. Access to medications is limited to the distribution of the medication to the Respiratory Therapist.
