The role involves evaluating, treating, and providing speech-language therapy to home health patients using appropriate therapeutic techniques. Responsibilities also include educating patients and families, maintaining clinical documentation, and supporting discharge planning.
A Bachelor's degree is required, though a Master's degree is preferred, along with specific licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois. Candidates must also obtain BLS certification within one month of hire and possess a valid Illinois Driver's License prior to the start date.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Evaluate, treat, and provide speech‑language therapy to home health patients using appropriate therapeutic techniques. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, maintain clinical documentation, and follow performance improvement guidelines. Support discharge planning and connect patients with appropriate community or support programs.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Drivers License credentialed from the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles (IL-DMV) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking Bachelors in Speech Pathology required. Experience in geriatric and home health strongly preferred.
