The primary responsibility involves providing total nursing care to assigned patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse to ensure quality care, which includes screening, prioritizing patients, assisting with coordination, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. This role also entails reinforcing patient education, assisting with inpatient/clinic flow, maintaining medical environments, and potentially participating in community outreach or precepting new staff.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited vocational nursing school and licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, or hold a valid Compact LVN License, along with current healthcare provider CPR certification. While no experience is strictly required, two years of healthcare experience and one year in areas like care coordination or chronic disease management are preferred, especially for virtual care roles.
