The Veterinary Technician will assist Doctors of Veterinary Medicine (DVMs) during appointments, exams, treatments, and surgical procedures, which includes monitoring anesthesia and performing diagnostics. Key hands-on duties involve drawing blood, placing catheters, administering injections, taking radiographs, and performing EKGs while communicating treatment plans to clients.
Candidates should possess 1-2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, with licensed technicians being preferred, and must be confident in performing blood draws, IV placement, anesthesia monitoring, and surgical support. The ideal applicant is a dependable, adaptable, and positive team player with strong communication skills who is committed to collaboration and continuous skill development.
