This role involves conducting chemical analyses of bodily fluids and analyzing blood cells to support disease diagnosis and treatment. Key duties include preparing blood products for transfusion and ensuring the accurate and timely testing of patient samples according to quality standards.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology approved by NYSED and hold the required NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist/Medical Technologist license. One to two years of experience in a hospital-based clinical laboratory is preferred, alongside strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology from a school approved by NYSED.
1-2 years of experience in a hospital-based clinical laboratory (preferred).
