The role involves delivering quality patient care through the complete nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation/re-assessment within the IMCU/Step-down unit. This includes providing direct and indirect patient care and communicating critical changes in patient clinical conditions to physicians.
Candidates must possess a Florida State Registered Nurse Licensure, hold current ACLS and BLS certifications, and have basic computer knowledge. A minimum of two or more years of medical/surgical experience is preferred, and all applicants must pass background and drug screenings.

Job Summary The delivery of quality care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation/re-assessment. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, can perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE/TECHNICAL/OTHER: License/Certification: Other: Florida State License Education: Associate Degree or BSN Experience: Two or more years of medical/surgical experience preferred Software/Hardware: Basic computer knowledge. Current State (FL) Registered Nurse Licensure ACLS and BLS certification Must be able to pass Background and Drug Test screenings.
