The technologist performs imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Responsibilities include demonstrating a thorough understanding of radiology principles, developing and implementing procedure plans, and completing required documentation.
Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of experience in the specialty area to meet CT competencies by the end of orientation. Required credentials include ARRT Registry in Radiography (R) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, with ARRT (CT) registry being preferred.
Performs imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology practice standards in order to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Performs other duties as assigned.
